In 2014 Kalyn earned her cosmetology license from Empire Beauty School in Lancaster. Since then she received additional training in specialized cutting, coloring and styling techniques.
She has been trained in razor cutting, texturizing techniques, keratin treatments, and balayage. Her specialties are blowouts and formal updos, and she is trained in both traditional and sewn in updos.
